chord with me at the time, and I finally got the chance to get my hands on it and test it out in the box after almost two years!

Acer Predator BiFrost Intel® Arc™ A770 OC uses the Intel Arc A770 graphics card core, which is cheaper than the Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card by 2,000 bucks at the early bird discount price before it goes on sale, so I can only say that Acer doesn't give Intel face.

The 6 nm ACM-G10 graphics card core uses the Intel Xe HPG architecture, codenamed Alchemist, and is comprised of 32 Xe-The Acer Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 OC is powered by 16 GB of GGR6 graphics memory and has a TGP of 210W, which can be increased to 235W in Turbo mode and is officially recommended to be used with a 650W or higher power supply. The official recommendation is to use it with a power supply of 650W or higher.

For everyday use, the A770 supports GPU APIs such as DirectX 12 Ultimate, AV1, HEVC, H.264 video and audio The Nomad can be configured to test with any of these APIs when the graphics card is using GPU APIs such as Vulkan, Metal, and DirectX 12. Intel Xe HPG architecture ACM-G10 core and 16 GB GDDR6 graphics memory, and paired with Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling) technology. Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling) technology brings gaming enthusiasts a third new 2K resolution entry graphics card besides NVIDIA and AMD, with an average of 144 fps or higher in high frame rate demanding FPS type games. In AAA games, which are more in pursuit of graphic performance, a total average of 78.4 fps was achieved for all nine games, and only a few games had to lower the mapping settings in order to successfully reach the passing frame rate of 60 fps.

For ray tracing games, which require more graphics card performance, the total average was 49.5 fps. With six games set to the "highest" graphics quality, only one game could exceed the average 60 fps game passing line. Xe Super Sampling) for performance, or lowering the mapping settings or 1080p resolution would be more suitable for gaming, in conclusion this card is positioned to meet the "2K entry" requirements when it was first released.

The graphics card itself is a good size for most compact or mini PC cases, but with the full preset PL1/PL2:210 W, even with the platform set up in a 24°C air-conditioned room on the barebones test rig, the card still reached a maximum temperature of 84°C, and overheating occurred in Furmark 2, which has the highest load pressure, and the frequency was temporarily reduced to a minimum. This is not good news for gamers who mostly install their cards in chassis, where the cooling environment is definitely not as good as on the bare test rig. However, the author disassembled the graphics card and replaced the thermal paste with Cooler Master MASTERGEL MAKER 40g thermal paste (thermal conductivity 11W/mK) after the test and conducted an additional round of testing. The maximum temperature of Furmark 2 was 83°C for 30 minutes, the temperature was lowered by one degree and there was no downclocking or degradation of usage. If consumers want to get the full performance of the graphics card without downclocking, it is recommended that they use the Predator BiFrost utility app to raise the temperature limit.
