It's not a Shredder MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G EXPERT Graphics Card Unboxing

While NVIDIA announced the new RTX 40 SUPER series graphics chipset at CES 2023, MSI is also proud to introduce the new graphics model MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G EXPERT, in addition to adding the related RTX 40 SUPER series graphics model to the existing series.

 

The MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G EXPERT, which uses the NVIDIA AD103-400 GPU core, is not expected to be unlocked until 2024/1/31, so this unboxing post will only focus on the exterior.

The content only provides the graphics card body, graphics card support bracket, and 12VHPWR to 3x 8-Pin power supply cable.

The MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G EXPERT features an Ada Lovelace architecture AD103-400 graphics core with 80 SM units, 10240 CUDA cores, 320 Tensor Cores, and 80 Ray Tracing Cores, and graphics memory of 16GB GDDR6X in a 256-bit interface. The graphics memory is 16GB GDDR6X in a 256-bit interface.

There is a positive fan at the bottom of the ∆.

∆ The right half of the front face has a large area for ventilation.

The ∆ graphics card occupies three levels of PCIe slot thickness, the same as the NVIDIA RTX 4080 Founders Edition.

The back panel of the ∆ graphics card is equipped with a reverse bladed fan, which draws cool air from the front air intake holes to dissipate heat.

∆ The end of the graphics card is equipped with the common OEM mounting holes for the graphics card, but it is largely unused by PC DIY users.

∆The thermal module exhausts heat from this side of the graphics card slot.
