2022 Intel Core i9-13900K Overclocking Battle First Competition Tips
Hello everyone, I'm the Ancient Spirit Two-Headed War Elephant, and this time I'm not here to bring you the unboxing test product, but rather to show you the content of this year's 2022 Intel Core i9-13900K overclocking battle. In fact, it's the first time I've participated in this kind of computer offline activity as a gamer, and I'm actually a little bit nervous about signing up as a participant in the MSI group.
The event was held at Warehouse 4 in the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, about a ten minute walk after getting off the train at the Founding Father's Memorial Hall Station, arriving at around noon on the day As an otaku living in the shadows, I almost didn't melt on the road...

∆ Hiking to the venue...it's hot!

∆ Songshan Cultural and Creative Park also has bazaars on weekends. I usually go shopping, but I don't do so when I'm competing in a tournament.
Upon arriving at Warehouse 4, you can see the big Intel NetMax (hardware geek?) wall. Just after arriving at Warehouse 4, you could see the big Intel Gamer Wall, and the staffs were already doing the triage, and those who had already signed up for QRCode and those who had signed up on-site were lined up separately. For this overclocking battle, Intel used full of neon elements to create a full of hardware gaming flavor. The event was hosted by Tommy and featured a performance by 3C Youtuber: Jing & HUAN.

∆ Split queuing between registered and on-site spectators.

∆ Event Stage Area But I didn't even have time to look over here during the event.
I signed up for the MSI set this time (as a Dragon fan this is how it should be, right?), on the desktop are the MSI z790 carbon, Intel 670P 2TB M.2, Kingston FURY Renegade RGB 6000mt/s 16GBx2, and the previously unboxed ones that I'm going to use today.MSI S360 Water-cooledSeasonic FOCUS GX 1000, Intel ARC A770 graphics card, STREACOM BC1 V2 Benchtable bare test stand. The new thirteenth-generation processor Intel i9 13900K was issued halfway through the installation to avoid suspicions such as picking the body, while the prize this time is also these parts on the desktop (except for the graphics card).

∆ MSI tournament area but I typed the article to look at the photo and realized I took it in the wrong spot, mine was next to it.
The MSI group drew the R23 multi-core, CPU-Z multi-execution continuity / single execution continuity total of three projects, this side to complain about a point that our group has waited until I installed into the Bios ready to set up, and then took the initiative to raise their hands to ask what exactly today's competition projects? Only then did the staff inform us of today's competition, but I heard that other groups were informed of the competition right from the start.

These two software programs happen to be the ones I usually use, so I know a little bit about the characteristics of each program, and I would like to share with you my scores and parameters. For the R23 multi-core program, I chose a more conservative parameter than CPU-Z, otherwise it would not pass, the P Core 5.7GHz / E Core 4.6GHz Voltage setting is 1.3V or 1.4V (I don't remember how much I used in the field). (I don't remember how much I used in the field.) The score is 42864.CPU-Z can be a bit more aggressive in the multi-execution test by setting the P Core 5.9 GHz / E Core 4.8 GHz voltages at 1.5 and 1.3V, and adopting the method of setting the voltages separately, the highest multi-execution test score is 18137 points. CPU-Z will shut down all the E Cores in the single-execution test, and check which two P Cores have the best quality in the Intel XTU software, keep the best two and the other two. CPU-Z single execution continued with all E Cores turned off, and Intel XTU software checked which two P Cores had the best physical condition, kept the best two and the other two randomly, and the P Core with the best physical condition was set to 6.3 GHz 1.65V, and successfully passed the CPU-Z single execution test to obtain 1023 points, during the competition, no USB device or internet connection was allowed, so the scores could only be captured with a cell phone.

The highest score obtained by ∆CPU-Z Multi-Run is 18137 points. (I didn't have time to take a picture of R23. Sorry)

∆ CPU-Z scored 1023 points on a single run.

∆ Tommy goes on a live tour with the U of C. I've been labeled a data nerd ....
Personally, I thought the event was pretty good, although it was my first time participating, the support from the staff and the registration of scores were pretty fast, but there seemed to be a gap in the communication between the event stage and the staff at the competition area, such as the start of the competition area without prior notification, and there were some players who had suspected problems with their equipment and started halfway through the platform check.
The power plugs on the site... There was a set of sockets under my desk that provided two slots, but... One of them was deformed and couldn't be fully inserted, and the other one was inserted by the staff after applying some force... The socket that could only be plugged in halfway to halfway to the screen was of course loosened up and took 5 minutes to deal with... Then I asked the staff to help me get an extension cable to continue the overclocking successfully. It took me 5 minutes to deal with it...then I asked the staff to help me get an extension cord to continue overclocking smoothly. As well as the just mentioned MSI group of hardware installed ready to enter the BIOS, take the initiative to ask to know the group in the end than what kind of project, these parts of the expectations of the 2023 Intel Core overclocking battle can enhance the planning of the activity process and the communication between the staff.
In fact, before this event I have no experience in overclocking on Intel platform, I only know AMD 5000 series full overclocking, I only started to learn overclocking on Intel platform one week before the competition, thanks to many predecessors who guided me as well as technical teaching, so in fact, I am very unsure about this competition, I spent three whole days before the competition to learn, and this time I am very fortunate to get first place, and very happy to meet other computer hardware gamers to talk about how to get the U body and score. I'm also very happy to meet other computer hardware gamers to talk about the quality of the U and how the score is.
