The Z790 motherboard uses the LGA 1700 processor mounting feet and supports Intel 12th/13th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron processors, while the previous generation Z690 chipset also supports both generations of processors after a BIOS update, so it's up to you to decide whether or not you need to spend a lot of money on upgrading your Z790 board. The CPU_FAN and DeBug LEDs in the upper-right corner of the motherboard near the memory slots allow gamers to clearly identify what problems the motherboard has encountered during the self-testing process and thus fail to boot up properly by using the two-digit error code displayed in the DeBug LED.

The two JARGB V2 are in fact regular 5V 3-Pin ARGB slots, the header can support up to 240 individually addressable RGB LED strips or devices, with a maximum power rating of 3A (5V). Connecting the ARGB Gen1 and ARGB Gen2 LED devices to the same slot header may cause problems, and therefore it is not recommended to daisy-chain the ARGB Gen1 and ARGB Gen2 LED devices together. MSI MEG Z790 ACE Motherboard Performance Test

This motherboard performance test uses the MSI MEG Z790 ACE motherboard, paired with a 24-core, 32-thread Intel i9 13900K processor with 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores, and a Kingston FURY Renegade RGB 6000MT/s 16GBx2 dual-channel memory kit to set up the test platform. 3D Mark CPU Profile This test measures the performance of MAX, 16, 8, 4, 2 and 1 threads respectively, while the performance of 16 threads and above is more for 3D rendering or professional audio/video work.
