Workstation AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX Processor Performance Tests
The new generation workstation processor AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX, which will be officially launched at the end of 2023, has 96 cores and 192 threads, uses the Zen 4 architecture with a maximum boost frequency of 5.1 GHz, and supports up to 128 PCIe Gen 5 lanes as well as 8 lanes of OC R-DIMM memory, which is more advanced than the competing Intel Xeon w9-3945X workstation platform or HEDT platform Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series, but the relative capital required to build the whole platform is also higher. Compared to competing Intel Xeon w9-3945X workstation platforms or the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series on the HEDT platform, this is a much more advanced platform, but it will definitely cost more money to build.
AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX Testbed Introduction
∆ Number of box times 96C192T.
AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX is part of the Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 series for the Workstation platform. The product specification and positioning are higher than the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series for the HEDT platform, and the motherboards are also based on the WRX90 and TRX50 motherboard chipsets for the Workstation platform and HEDT platform respectively. The WRX90 and TRX50 motherboard chipsets are available for Workstation and HEDT platforms respectively.
The lower-positioned AMD TRX50 chipset features up to 48 PCIe 5.0 lanes and supports 4 lanes of memory; the workstation-positioned AMD WRX90 chipset features up to 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes and 8 lanes of memory.
The TRX50 chipset supports AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series processors and AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX series processors, while the WRX90 chipset motherboard only supports AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX series processors. To summarize, the boards can be used with high U and low U boards, but not with low U and high U boards.
This time it was just because my friend was installing a computer that I had the chance to touch the highest-end workstation platforms, which is an area of money that a consumer gamer with empty pockets like me wouldn't normally touch. The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX is currently priced at NT$371,200, and the ASRock WRX90 WS EVO motherboard is NT$38,990. Because my friend ordered the boards from overseas and then brought them back to Taiwan for me to help set them up, there are a lot of things that are unofficial or not yet available in Taiwan, so I won't mention some of them in particular.

CPU Computing, Rendering, and Score Software Tests
firstly CPU-Z The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX processor has 96 cores and 192 threads, the series code name is Storm Peak and it uses the Zen 4 process, the motherboard uses the WRX90 to support PCI-E 5.0 lanes, the BIOS is version 5.01, and the memory uses the DDR5 OC R-type DIMM 6400 32GBx8 with eight lanes of 256 GB of memory. DIMM 6400 32GBx8 eight-channel capacity totaling 256 GB, and also ran the CPU-Z built-in test Version 17.01.64, scoring 715.3 points for CPU single-threaded and 60259.5 points for multi-threaded.

Processor score test software CINEBENCH R23It is often used to evaluate the 3D rendering and graphics performance of the processor itself, which was developed by MAXON based on Cinema 4D.
Cinebench 2024 MAXON ONE is Maxon's benchmark software for MAXON ONE software. MAXON ONE includes Cinema 4D, Red Giant Complete, Redshift, ZBrush, Universe, and Forger, and is a powerful tool for creating animation effects, motion design, motion graphics, film-grade portraits, and game art scenes. Each of these software programs fits together to provide a complete visual solution for creators.
Cinebench 2024 uses Cinema 4D's default Redshift rendering engine to test GPU and CPU performance. If multiple graphics cards are used to run Cinebench 2024 tests, the software utilizes multiple cards for the rendering tests at the same time, and Cinebench 2024 performs multiple rendering tests with six times the amount of computation when compared to Cinebench R23. Compared to Cinebench R23, the Cinebench 2024 multi-threaded rendering tests show a six-fold increase in the amount of computation for scenes. This reflects improvements in CPU performance and the higher hardware requirements that multimedia workers must now meet.

Indigo Bench The Indigo 4 rendering engine is a free software that uses the OpenCL architecture to support NVIDIA, AMD and Intel graphics cards and processors for rendering performance testing. The test provides two sample renderings, bedroom and car, and the results are in units of rendering completion per second, so the higher the better, the better, the results are 18.026 (M samples/s) for the bedroom project and 41.011 (M samples/s) for the sports car project.

UL Procyon There are two benchmarks used in the test, Video Editing Benchmark video editing test and Photo Editing Benchmark, both of which require the use of a legitimate Adobe software installed on the system to conduct the benchmark test.
Video Editing Benchmark The video editing test is conducted using Adobe Premiere Pro on the computer. For editing media workers, Adobe Pr has never had a standardized test reference, and in this benchmark test, two video files will be imported, edited, adjusted, and set up special effects, and then exported in H.264 (Youtube 1080P) / H.265 (4K). test to get the total score.
