ASRock Motherboard BIOS Update Tutorial|Complete Steps and Instant Flash Operation Guide

This post will teach you how to update the BIOS file of ASRock motherboard, and there will also be a video for your reference.

How to update ASRockMotherboard BIOS

First, search for your motherboard model's official website and click on the "Support" page.

Motherboard BIOSes of different models or chipsets cannot be shared, so be sure to check your motherboard model.

Click on BIOS in the Support & Downloads block and select the BIOS version you want to update to download, each update usually says what it updates.

After the download is complete, unzip the downloaded file and I usually copy it to an empty UFD flash drive for better organization, but it's not necessary.

Then reboot the computer with the USB flash drive installed on the motherboard. When you see the ASRock logo during the boot process, press Del or F12 to enter the BIOS.

After entering the BIOS, click the Instant Flash function on the Tool page.

Next, press Yes all the way to select, Instant Flash will automatically read the BIOS files in the UFD flash drive that can be updated, and select the version you want to update.

After confirming that it is the version of the file you want to update, the update will take place. During the update process, just make sure that the computer will not be disconnected from the power supply, you do not have to touch it or turn it on and off, the computer will run through the whole process automatically.

After updating, go to BIOS to check if the UEFI BIOS Version has been updated to the downloaded version, then press F10 to save and exit.
