The HydroShift II LCD-S series is a new version of the HydroShift II.
After taking a look at the HydroShift II LCD-S series, there is no change in the specifications of the fan, cold plate and cold pipe, but there is a difference in the water-cooling head and pump PUMP. The cold head is replaced by a larger rectangular cold head with a larger 3.4" display screen, but the manual adjustment function of the cold head is removed, and the PUMP speed is increased from 2,500 RPM (LCD-C) to 3,200 RPM (LCD-S), and the official data indicates that the cooling performance of the LCD-S is better. The Hydroshift II LCD-S all-in-one water-cooling system is available in three versions, each with two colors, the Hydroshift II LCD-S 360 TL with UNI FAN TL Wireless fan is the only version that comes with an L-Wireless controller, the second version is the Hydroshift II LCD-S 360 CL with UNI FAN CL Wireless fan (without L-Wireless controller), and the third version is the Hydroshift II LCD-S 360 CL without the fan. The second version is the Hydroshift II LCD-S 360 CL, which comes with the UNI FAN CL Wireless fan (no L-Wireless controller included), and the third version is the Hydroshift II LCD-S 360 Fanless, which does not come with a fan, so you can add your own fan model to match.
This series of water-cooling is mainly planned for the current mainstream "chassis top-mounted water-cooling installation", with the fan and water-cooling pipe routing already installed at the factory, and a six-year liquid leakage indemnity program is provided for the after-sales warranty.
The side-mounted water-cooling piping design fixes the water-cooling pipes along the edges of the water-cooling rows, significantly reducing the exposed area of the water-cooling pipes to minimize the visual clutter inside the chassis, while the PWM and USB connecting cables required for the water-cooling head are directly hidden in the water-cooling pipe braid sleeve, which similarly presents an "almost wireless and hidden water pipe" visual appearance on the side of the radiator, but correspondingly requires adjusting the installation mode according to factors such as the layout and size of the chassis and motherboard. However, the Hydroshift retains the flexibility to adjust the water pipe mounting pattern according to the dimensions of the chassis and motherboard layout.
The water-cooling tubes are wrapped around the side and fixed by three pre-set brackets, the three brackets are fixed with screw holes on the side of the cold plate, players can adjust the bracket position according to different chassis or even remove it to adjust the water-cooling tubes.

The HydroShift II LCD-S 360 TL has three modes of use, namely Offline, Wireless and Advanced USB wired connection, etc. In Offline Mode, the cold head will display the water temperature and PUMP speed in the default mode, while in Real Time Mode, Advanced USB wired connection and Wireless Mode, the display can be customized through the L-CONNECT 3 software and the fan light effect can be customized. In Real Time Mode, the advanced USB wired connection and Wireless Mode, the L-CONNECT 3 software can be used to customize the display and the fan lighting effect. Therefore, for a more comprehensive and personalized use, it is recommended to use the advanced USB wired connection and pair the Wireless wireless receiver with the fan in order to experience the complete and perfect customization.
Unfortunately, unlike the LCD-C, which can be manually adjusted to allow players to change the background in Offline Mode, the LCD-S only has one default mode to use.

The size of the water cooler is 400 x 122 x 24 mm, the official web site boasts that it is 3 mm thinner, 3 mm shorter and 2.5 mm narrower than its predecessor, which reduces the space after installation. However, including the space for the side water cooling tubes, the overall water cooler plus fan is 400 x 139 x 52 mm, which means that there are still some requirements for the top water cooling area, and it is recommended to find a case that has a 140 mm fan installed. It is recommended to use a chassis that supports 140 mm fan mounting.
The three mounting brackets at the water-cooling tubes have screw holes at the top, which can be used to fine-tune the 140 mm fan mounting holes and to secure the brackets during installation.

LIAN LI RS1000G Power Supply Unboxing and Rotatable AC Receptacle Design Introduction
Among the new products that LIAN LI is expected to launch this year, I think the RS series power supply is the strangest and most interesting, because its AC slot can be rotated 90°, which can be changed to meet the installation requirements according to the different mounting orientations of the chassis, such as top-mounted, bottom-mounted, and side-mounted, and so on.
The series is available in black and white as well as 1000W (RS1000G) and 1200W (RS1200G) wattage, with a total of four SKUs to choose from. However, you should pay attention to whether or not the item you buy comes with a free USB 2.0 HUB, the 1200W (RS1200G) model must come with a free USB 2.0 HUB, the 1000W (RS1000G) model does not, so if you buy a kilowatt, you should check if it comes with a free USB 2.0 HUB. LIAN LI VECTOR V100R MINI Unboxing and Specification: M-ATX Price-performance Chassis
Previously, the author has unboxed Vector V100 This time, Lian Li went further in the direction of "cheaper and more cost-effective" by launching the LIAN LI VECTOR V100R MINI chassis, which is basically the same architecture, but only supports M-ATX motherboards and is smaller and cheaper.
Usually, when budget is tight, you will choose the cheap entry-level M-ATX motherboards, and most of the motherboard brands are Micro-ATX sized for the cheapest models. Therefore, if you want to target the price/performance ratio, launching an M-ATX chassis is the right direction.
The VECTOR V100R MINI measures 436 x 221.5 x 443.9 mm, and there is a fanless VECTOR V100 MINI(V100MIX) version, and the VECTOR V100R MINI(V100RMIX) version that comes with four ARGB fans in today's unboxing, but it seems that Taiwan only sells the version with fans. As for the color, only black is available. The author asked LIAN LI during the event why they didn't release a white version this time, and LIAN LI responded that since this is a price-performance chassis, it's a bit contrary to the original intention of releasing a white version which is a bit more expensive.
There is a model placement platform in the power compartment near the front panel, but this platform is only suitable for models with smaller base sizes (e.g. small blind boxes), and the chassis I/O ports offer 2x USB-A 5Gbps, USB Type-C 10Gbps, and TRRS composite headphone microphone jacks.

The rear of the chassis supports a 120 mm fan, and there are five PCIE mounting positions for graphics cards and expansion devices. The PCIE board has no crossbar, and there is an extractor filter underneath the bottom-mounted power supply for use.

The side panel on the back of the motherboard has mesh holes for the three fan mounting positions on the side and two fan mounting positions on the power compartment for air intake, but there is no filter underneath, so you may have to install your own dust filter if you mind dust prevention problems.

The top of the chassis supports 360 mm fans and water coolers with a thickness of less than 65 mm, while the wider 140 mm fan can be installed with two fans, but does not support the 280 mm water cooler. The top cover has a dust filter to minimize dust from falling into the interior of the chassis, but unfortunately, it is fixed, and can not be disassembled separately for cleaning, so you have to take it as a whole to remove the dust.

LIAN LI VECTOR V100R MINI Chassis Hardware Installation Space and Support Demonstration
The LIAN LI VECTOR V100R MINI supports Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX, and Micro-ATX (Rear Plug) sized motherboards, and the air-cooled cooler is compatible up to 163.5 mm in height and up to 415 mm in length for graphics cards, leaving plenty of room for the mainstream high-end air-cooled models and flagship graphics cards to be installed.
The 120 mm ARGB fans are pre-installed at the factory, with three ARGB tandem reverse fans on the sides to help draw air into the chassis, and one on the rear to exhaust heat, creating a basic cooling airflow plan for the entire chassis.
The four pre-installed fans are pre-wired, so all you need to do is to connect a 4-Pin PWM power supply and a 5V 3-Pin ARGB connector to the motherboard slot, and there is also a male ARGB connector for connecting other fans to complete the synchronization effect.

Two 120 mm fans can be installed above the power compartment to blow directly on the graphics card, but if the graphics card is thicker than three slots, or if the motherboard's graphics slot layout is low, the total thickness of the graphics card is too close to the bottom of the card, the fan underneath may not be able to be installed.
The chassis comes with an upper and lower fixed graphics card bracket, which can be adjusted in stages by using screws, but if the graphics card itself is a dual-fan, it's not quite as useful, and a longer triple-fan graphics card can only be touched.

The total thickness of water cooling is limited to 65 mm, so the hamburger row mounting method is basically impossible.
On the back of the motherboard there is a 2.5" HDD mounting plate secured by hand screws, and inside the power compartment there are two sets of HDD cage locking holes for two 2.5" or 3.5" composite mounting positions, but it is not possible to install two 3.5" at the same time, only one each of a 2.5" and a 3.5" or two 2.5" HDDs can be installed at the same time.
In addition, when the length of the power supply exceeds 150 mm, only one of the two composite mounts can be installed, which means that the entire chassis can be expanded to accommodate a maximum of one 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch hard drives, for a total of three hard drives at the same time.

The author still expects the HydroShift II series water cooling to work in Offline Mode, but I found that the TL wireless fan did not reach the 2600 RPM under the BIOS setting at full speed with both fan power connectors plugged into the motherboard power supply slots, and then advanced to Real Time Mode with a USB wired connection. The same happened when using L-CONNECT 3 software with USB wired connection.
It seems that the HydroShift II LCD-S 360 TL's water-cooled fan, the UNI FAN TL Wireless 120, has to be paired with an L-Wireless controller and use the L-CONNECT 3 software to recognize the fan in order to be able to fully utilize it (at least ASRock motherboards have such a situation), which was discussed by the author with both Lian Li and ASRock. As I discussed with Lian Li and ASRock, maybe the fan is related to the motherboard's power supply operation command, so I just take it as an experiment.

Then we also tested the cooling performance of the chassis, with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and ASRock B860M Steel Legend WiFi During the test, the fan slot was set to run at full speed in the motherboard BIOS, and the actual test was conducted in a closed room at 23°C. This is for reference only, as it is difficult to control the ambient temperature in a normal room.
The software uses the OCCT burn-in test to simulate the temperature data of the processor and graphics card under high load stress.

Comparing the HydroShift II LCD-S 360 TL with the HydroShift II LCD-C of half a year ago, there is no change in the paper specification outside the water-cooling head, but the update is basically in the whole water-cooling head, the internal water pump PUMP rotates at a higher speed and the official claim is that the performance is better and quieter, the cooling head has changed from round to square, and the size of the IPS screen has been changed to a larger size accordingly. But the IPS screen size is also relatively bigger. It's a pity that the background adjustment function in offline mode has been removed.
