This article will teach you how to update the BIOS file of your GIGABYTE motherboard, and there will also be a video for your reference.
How to Update GIGABYTE Motherboard BIOS (Q-Flash Full Tutorial)
First, search for your motherboard model's official website and click on the "Support & Downloads" page.
Motherboard BIOSes of different models or chipsets cannot be shared, so be sure to check your motherboard model.
Click on BIOS in the download block on the left and select the version of BIOS you want to update to download, each update will usually say what is updated.
After the download is complete, unzip the downloaded file and I usually copy it to an empty UFD flash drive for better organization, but it's not necessary.
Then reboot the computer with the USB flash drive installed on the motherboard. When you see the GIGABYTE logo during the boot process, press Del or F12 to enter the BIOS.
Enter BIOS and click Q-Flash.
After entering Q-Flash, click Update BIOS.
If you have saved the files in the hard disk, or there are a lot of hard disks and you can't find the saved BIOS files, you can click Auto Scan below, and the computer will search for the BIOS files that can be updated on the motherboard automatically.
After Auto Scan finds the file, make sure it's the file version you want to update, click on the file, then click on the arrow in the lower right corner or press the Enter key on the keyboard, and the update will be done, just make sure that the computer won't be disconnected during the update process, you don't have to touch it or turn on the computer, the computer will run through the whole process automatically.
After updating, go to BIOS to check if the BIOS Ver. has been updated to the downloaded version, then press F10 to save and exit.
