This time, MONTECH has cooperated with Seasonic to launch MONTECH's first white color power supply to provide an additional choice for superficial consumers. This is a lot of first attempts for MONTECH, whether the price and specifications can also impress and replace the predecessor TITAN Gold?

Soft White Body! MONTECH TITAN PLA 1000W Power Supply Unboxing!
This unboxing of Monarch's MONTECH TITAN PLA 1000W power supply was shown at Computex Taipei in 2023, and is one of the few MONTECH products that has been on hold for more than a year before being mass-produced. In the process, the author has been asking when exactly it will be released, and finally it was mass-produced before the end of 2024!
This model will leave the original TITAN series as the flagship of MONTECH's power supply lineup, with ATX 3.1 specification, 80 PLUS and Cybenetics double-platinum certification, and a standard 10-year warranty!

The MONTECH TITAN PLA 1000W is listed as compliant with the latest Intel ATX 3.1 specification, as well as 80 PLUS and Cybenetics Platinum dual conversion rate certifications. However, the author was only able to find the MONTECH TITAN PLA in 80 PLUS, and perhaps the other two certifications were verified under the Oceanic name.
This power supply is a collaboration between MONTECH and Seasonic, and as we can see by checking the model number TIX0125 with the Bureau of Standards, Inspection and Quarantine of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the model number is registered and verified by Seasonic.

At that time, the first thing that attracted me most was the superficial all-white color, and after so many power supply models, MONTECH has finally released the first white power supply! The size of the power supply itself is 160 x 150 x 86 mm.
In addition to the white coating on the outer casing of the power supply, the internal Ø135mm fan blades are also whitened, although the 99.9% can't be seen at all in the context of using the power supply fan, it's a bit of a pity that the module cable connectors are still black, and it's said that they are whitened because of the color difference in the materials used, so the whitening is abandoned here.
The Ø135mm FDB fan has a HYBRID fan stop function switch, which allows the fan to stop automatically at 15~20% low loads, minimizing PC noise during standby or hang-up, and the power supply is Cybenetics LAMBDA A+ certified for ultra-low noise.

Usually power supply unboxing the author will disassemble a little to show you the content, but this power supply using hexagonal screws I do not have the same size screwdriver on hand to open, so I gave up ...
In addition to AC cables, there are disposable cable ties, white devil's felt cable ties, 24 pin power starters, and more.

This time TITAN PLA uses a very soft embossed full module cable, the outer layer of the cable is wrapped by a white embossed layer, the author has touched the cable in 2023, and now I have actually touched it again and found it to be very soft, I wonder if there will be a TITAN PLA Mini SFX / SFX-L power supply in the future, the whole cable must be very comfortable for ITX small motherboards. The whole cable must be very comfortable for a small ITX host.
In addition to the embossed modular cables, there is also a special comb for each full modular cable, but unfortunately the comb is a little off-white compared to the cable itself.

As a troublesome part of the installation process, the motherboard 24-Pin cable is braided, but the cable itself is soft enough to have a good installation advantage.
The CPU has two direct 4+4 pin cables, which can be used by high-end motherboards with dual 8-pin requirements. The cables are labeled PSU and CPU on each end, meaning that one end is installed on the power supply body and the other end is installed on the CPU power supply slot of the motherboard.
The ∆ motherboard 24 pin power supply cable is very soft and the cable should not be too difficult to bundle.
∆ CPU power supply cable is two 4+4 Pin total dual 8 Pin, there are markings on the connector to indicate where to plug it in, so don't plug it in by mistake.
There are three PCIe cables for the graphics card, and all of them are single-ended 6+2 Pin setup, which is a blessing for people with obsessive-compulsive disorder! You don't have to worry about how to install the taps, just plug them all in!
∆Three single-ended PCIe 6+2 Pin power cables, the best antidote to graphics card cable compulsion.
The TITAN PLA 1000W uses 12+4 Pin 12V-2X6 graphics card power cables with NVIDIA RTX 40 series graphics cards. The H++ on the power connector indicates that it is indeed a 12V-2X6, except that the cables still have 600W of power capacity printed on them instead of 675W, and we will have to see if it's safer with time.

There are a total of 12 power connectors on the four SATA cables, two of which have two 90-degree SATA connectors each, two of which have four lay-flat SATA connectors, and one of the large 4-Pin cables has four large 4-Pin connectors.

MONTECH TITAN PLA 1000W Power Supply Pressure Test
This time we use the bare test platform to test MONTECH TITAN PLA 1000W power supply, processor using Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Founders Edition 8GB graphics card to match the test, software using AIDA64 FPU + FurMark double bake stress test for players to reference, and by HWiNFO 64 to check the motherboard loop control chip returns values and record, using software monitoring will have 1~3% deviation. The software uses AIDA64 FPU + FurMark dual-bake to conduct stress tests for gamers' reference, and HWiNFO 64 to view and record the values reported by the motherboard's environmental control chip, and the deviation values of 1~3% will be monitored by the software for reference only.

Conclusion
This unboxing of the MONTECH TITAN PLA 1000W should be the first time that Monarch has partnered with Seasonic. Currently, the Taiwanese market should prefer Seasonic as their first choice of power supply OEM brand, and I believe that having this brand to work with will give gamers more confidence.
However, it is a pity that I only found the MONTECH TITAN PLA test report in 80 PLUS, while Cybenetics Conversion Rate Certification and Cybenetics LAMBDA did not find the MONTECH TITAN PLA model, "maybe" the model provided by Seasonic has passed, but just replaced with the MONTECH TITAN PLA model. MONTECH TITAN PLA has not been sent for additional testing? We'll see if Seasonic will send us a replacement.
The TITAN PLA 1000W features Platinum Conversion Rate Certification and Cybenetics LAMBDA A+ Ultra Low Noise Certification on the official website, so there is nothing to criticize about the certification part, and the use of albino braided cable with all white body is really attractive, but it's a pity that the connector part is still in black, which may make people feel similar to the color of a panda, but the author personally criticizes the color difference of the cable comb... This may be the reason why the connector is not in white. But I personally would complain about the color difference of the comb...maybe that's why the connectors are not made of white material, right?
