GravaStar Mercury K1 Pro Special Edition - Cyberpunk Keyboard Unboxing
This unboxing comes from GravaStar's first keyboard product, the Mercury K1 Pro. Almost all of my impression of GravaStar comes from the product advertisements on IG, especially the Mercury Wireless Gaming Mouse and the Mars Pro Bluetooth stereo, which really attracted me with their unique looks, but I didn't have the need for them or tried them out, so I didn't put them on my money list. But since I didn't need them and I didn't try them out, I didn't put them on my list of things to spend money on.
In the past couple of months, I've been getting a lot of attention from GravaStar's keyboard advertisements, and when I clicked on them, I saw the Mercury K1 series keyboards, which look very similar to Mercury's gaming mice, so it left an impression on my mind.
The entire Mercury K1 series keyboards are divided into three models from high to low positioning: Mercury K1 Pro, Mercury K1, Mercury K1 LITE, and each model has two colors to choose from, which means there are a total of six SKUs to choose from, but the author personally came here because of its appearance, so of course, I chose the most lightweight one. Inside the box, besides the keyboard itself, there is also a cleaning brush, 2-in-1 key puller and shaft puller, cleaning cloth, 4 kinds of test mechanical shafts, USB Type-A to Type-C cable, and other accessories or peripherals seem to be purchased separately.
There is a plastic cover over the keyboard body, so if you usually use the plastic cover on your keyboard to protect it from dust, you should remember to leave the cover on.
In the upper left corner of the accessories section, there are Kailh's Platycodon shaft, Crackle Ice Box, KTT's Silent Blue Switch, Baby White Baby White shaft, and so on. In total, there are four kinds of mechanical axes for players to try out on their own. If you don't like the feel or sound of the original Speedy Mint shaft of the Mercury K1 Pro, you can try out these four, and if you like them, you can buy all of them and replace them yourself, which is a pretty smart operation!

The GravaStar Mercury K1 Pro Special Edition - Cyberpunk is a 75% size layout with a total of 79 keys plus an audio dial in the upper right corner and overall dimensions of 415 x 178.6 x 57.6 mm.
The overall appearance style is the same as the Mercury gaming mouse, through the unique alien shape similar to the alien creature alien style, and with the leg bionic prosthesis to create the overall appearance of the author impressive shape.
The official website of Mercury K1 Pro boasts that it is made of strong and lightweight forged aluminum alloy, and the surface treatment is written Metal Paint Spray, the product's shaped curved appearance is composed of two layers, the outer layer feels like metal, but underneath it's plastic, which means that the outer layer is layered with top and bottom materials a little bit like chocolate chips, but the relative weight of this keyboard is 1 18 KG. This keyboard is also a bit heavier than the regular 75% keyboard, with an overall weight of 1.18 KG.

The Mercury K1 Pro has three ways to connect to your device: 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C wired connection, which is switched via a switch on the front of the keyboard. The 2.4 GHz wireless connection works with the receiver on the back of the keyboard, which is installed in the Type-A slot of a PC or laptop device.
The 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connections use the keyboard's built-in 8000mAh battery, which lasts about 40 hours in the default light mode and 470 hours with the lights off. If the battery is dead, you can use the USB Type-A to Type-C cable included in the accessory to charge it, and also use the wired connection mode as a substitute.

The Mercury K1 Pro Special Edition - Cyberpunk version uses Dye-Sublimated PBT keycaps with various pixel and game style patterns printed on the top of the keycaps, while the text part of the keyboard in my hand is only in English, which is the so-called English engraving. Users who can't type Chinese blindly might want to pay attention to this, but it looks like there are English plus Chinese keycaps available from Capitalize.

Mercury K1 Pro is equipped with GravaStar and Kailh's Speedy Mint shafts, which can be pulled up by clamping the upper and lower ends of the mechanical shafts with a shaft puller. The PCB supports hot-swappable 3-Pin and 5-Pin shafts, and if you don't like the feel or sound of the mint shafts, you can also replace them with other shafts of your own choice.

The Mercury K1 Pro keyboard has a basic white lighting effect when powered on, but if you want to customize the lighting effect or set up macro functions, you need to use GravaStar Mechanical to do so.

Conclusion
In conclusion, GravaStar Mercury K1 Pro Special Edition - Cyberpunk does make a difference in appearance, with GravaStar's past Alien Bionic style in this square world.
In terms of feel, the Speedy Mint axes provided by default are linear downward feedback, the author's personal finger strength is weaker and prefers red or silver axes, so I can get used to this set of mint axes, and the overall finger strength required is not too big, but the feedback from the finger downward pressure is soft and close, so I would like to try the feel of this keyboard in person, or I would recommend that if you have a chance to try it out, you can try playing it in person! If you want to try this keyboard for yourself, we recommend you to try it out yourself if you have the chance. I just don't know where this keyboard will be sold or displayed in the physical outlets.
The accessories provided are in the middle of the range, including Kailh's Platycodon and Crackle Ice Box, as well as KTT's Silent Blue Switch and Baby White Baby White axes, giving consumers the opportunity to experience different axes directly on the keyboard for free. I think it's very good! But I think it would be better if the hand rest can be included directly.
The Pudding PBT Dye-Sublimated keycaps have a very dynamic graphic design on the top layer. The shaped style of the keyboard frame with the metal paint is more mechanical, but the gradient pattern of the keycaps and the color scheme bring some dynamic changes, and it's up to each individual to decide whether he or she likes the fusion of the two.
Personally, I think the official website and the software can be enhanced. At the time of unboxing, I didn't see the official website of Taiwan GravaStar for Mercury K1 series, so Taiwanese consumers and gamers may not know where to check the related information and download the software, and although the software can be configured in traditional Chinese, some of the words and text displayed are still in simplified Chinese. ...
