FSP DAGGER PM MIT 1200W SFX-L PSU Unboxing
FSP’s new SFX-L power supply, the DAGGER PM MIT, has passed tests conducted by both 80 PLUS and Cybenetics—two efficiency certification bodies—and earned Platinum certification, offering users of ITX computers and similar systems a compact, high-performance power supply option. According to the official website, only the 1200W model is currently available; no lower-wattage versions have been released.
In addition to its standout feature of packing 1200W of Platinum-level efficiency into an SFX-L form factor measuring 125 × 125 × 63.5 mm, it also complies with the Intel ATX 3.1 power supply specification, supporting a maximum Power Excursion of 200%, and employs a high-efficiency LLC Full-Bridge + SR + DC-DC circuit architecture to deliver stable power and more precise voltage control. The official website highlights that it is "Made in Taiwan (MIT)" and offers a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.

The FSP DAGGER PM MIT 1200W power supply measures 125 x 125 x 63.5 mm; the length of the unit that occupies space in the case’s power supply bay is 125 mm, which, compared to standard ATX power supplies, leaves more room inside the case for cable management.
The official website states that the power supply uses a Ø 120 mm FDB fan and features a “semi-fanless” cooling design, commonly known as an “intelligent fan stop” function. When the system load falls below 30%, the fan stops running completely, balancing cooling efficiency with the need for quiet operation. Internally, the high-efficiency heat sink is in direct contact with the chassis, effectively improving overall cooling efficiency.
