LIAN LI 2024 Digital EXPO: Video Highlights of Seven New Product Launches

LIAN LI 2024 Digital Expo is showcasing seven products: SUP-01 / DAN Cases A3 / O11V Back Connect / O11V Chrome / GALAHAD II LCD Shift AIO / EDGE Series PSU / DK-07, some of which are still in the prototype stage, while some will be available soon. Some of the products are still in prototype design stage, while others will be sold soon and MSRP will be provided for players' reference.

 

Graphics card front SUP-01 chassis

The SUP-01 is a 45-liter chassis that is still in the prototype stage, aiming to be a compact chassis with optimized cooling and a reduced footprint. The graphics card is placed in the front of the chassis to create intake airflow for the card, and metal mesh panels are used on the front, top, and right sides of the chassis for optimal cooling configuration.

The chassis has an ARGB light bar and can be switched between modes and colors via the chassis I/O buttons. The chassis I/O also offers two USB 3.0 and USB Type-C.

 

There are dedicated mounting brackets on the top and bottom of the front graphics card to avoid transportation problems.

 

There are two fan brackets on the back of the motherboard that can accommodate up to six 120 mm fans, one of which is already pre-installed with three 120 mm sunless fans.

The other bracket supports up to 360 / 280 mm water cooler mounting, and the integrated water cooler crosses over the top frame of the chassis before locking the frame in place. However, the author is not sure if there is enough air intake space as both exhaust fans are attached to the back of the motherboard.

 

The SUP-01 supports ATX motherboards up to 81.4 mm high with air-cooled mounts, so water-cooled mounts are recommended for better cooling performance, after all, 81.4 mm air-cooled mounts don't offer the best cooling performance.

PCIe extension cables are included, and all PCIe direct plug-in locations only support the short version of the board, which means that if you have other PCIe expansion devices, you need to replace the short board before you can use them.

 

It is expected to be available in black and white and will be available in 2024 Q2 at an MSRP of $149.99.

 

Full Mesh M-ATX DAN Cases A3 Chassis

The DAN Cases A3 is an M-ATX full mesh steel chassis with a left side bracket that supports either 360 all-in-one water cooling or 280 fan mounts, but this varies depending on the mounting pattern.

 

The power supply mounting bracket supports up to 14 cm of ATX power supply, but it is recommended to use SFX-L or SFX power supply for more space. There are six different mounting modes for the power supply mounting bracket, three for attaching the bracket to the front of the chassis and three for attaching the bracket to the side of the motherboard.

 

There are by default two 2.5" hard drive mounting plates next to the motherboard, but you'll have to swap them if you want to mount the power supply on the side.

 

The bottom of the DAN Cases A3 also supports the installation of two 12 cm fans, but with the installation of a regular 25 mm thick 12 cm fan, the graphics card will only support up to a compatible 61 mm thick dual slot card.

 

The suggested price of DAN Cases A3 is 69.99 USD, which translates to about 2195 NTD. In this case, the author would say that DAN Cases A3 is more suitable for front power installation and mount the power supply at the bottom to support CPU 360 AIO, while the graphics card can be used with water-cooled graphics card and the water-cooling exhaust can be mounted on the side fan bracket, and the water-cooled graphics card is mostly shorter. Most of the graphics cards are shorter, so the 333 mm mounting space should be more than enough.

 

Back Connect Support O11V Back Connect Chassis

O11V Back Connect (O11 VISION Back Connect) is in fact a derivative of the previous LIAN LI O11 VISION, which is supported by O11V Back Connect. MSI Z790 PROJECT ZERO This type of back-plug motherboard is used to make the front of the case more compact and tidy, but with a slight change in playability and expandability.

 

For example, the modular motherboard mounting blocks have become fixed, and the rear fan mounting positions have become fixed and unchangeable, allowing only two 12 cm fans to be installed; no 240 mm water cooler can be installed.

 

The O11V Back Connect (O11 VISION Back Connect) has an estimated MSRP of $129.99 USD, which translates to about 4,000 NTD.

 

Chrome-plated reflective glass O11V Chrome case

O11V Chrome(O11 VISION Chrome) is a finished product and is available for purchase on LIAN LI 2024 Digital Expo is open for pre-order at this time, with a suggested price of US$149.99, which translates to about NT$4706.

It seems to be roughly the same as the original The O11 VISION has the same expandability, but uses chrome-plated glass to give the glass panel a reflective appearance, which looks a bit like the facade of an office building.

 

GALAHAD II LCD Shift AIO All-in-One Water Cooler!

GALAHAD II LCD Shift AIO is a very special water-cooled cooler. Users who install all-in-one water-cooling should be quite annoyed with the placement of water-cooling tubes, and there is always a feeling that no matter how they are placed, but GALAHAD II LCD Shift AIO uses the spiral hose that water-cooled servers use in the server room, which provides a high level of strength and easy to bend, so users can freely fix the water-cooling tubes on the left and right side of the cooler rows. Users can freely fix the water-cooling tubes on the left and right side of the cooler, and plan freely.

 

The GALAHAD II LCD Shift AIO water cooler features the same 2.8" LCD small screen as the Galahad II LCD 360, which can be customized through LIAN LI's own L-Connect 3 software.

However, the water cooling solution should be different from the Asetek 8th generation solution for the Galahad II LCD 360, and judging from the grommets, it should be the same in-house solution as the Galahad II Trinity Performance.

The fan and water cooler configuration is the same as the Galahad II Trinity Performance, with a thicker cooling specification that allows for 60 mm of usable space in the overall installation, and the GALAHAD II LCD Shift AIO will only be available in black and white 360 mm versions.

 

T-Shaped EDGE Series PSU / USB 2.0 Expansion

LIAN LI has finally renewed its power supply products again, the new EDGE Series comes to PC DIY market with a special T-shape, labeled as specially designed for the dual-cabin chassis like the O11 series, which seems to be a great help for the whole lineup from the video demonstration!

 

In addition to the use of fully modular cables, the EDGE Series PSUs also offer USB 2.0 expansion, which is one of the main culprits of the increasing use of USB 2.0 slots in more and more devices in the past few years, such as TL fans, GA II LCDs, and so on, which makes the two USB 2.0 slots on most motherboards insufficient.

However, in the past, the only way to get more USB 2.0 slots was to use splitter cables or HUBs, which often had problems with power supply and unstable data transfer.

Therefore, the EDGE Series provides a one-to-four USB 2.0 expansion function, which can not only stabilize the power supply but also achieve a complete diversion of information transmission. On second thought, this is also a way for LIAN LI to take the responsibility to return more USB 2.0 slots to the consumers, isn't it?

 

The EDGE Series PSUs support 12VHWPR (600W) cables and two more user-friendly SATA cables.

Four models of 1300W, 1000W, 850W and 850W (Non-Slevved Cables) will be launched, with 1300W being Platinum certified and the other three being Gold certified.

 

New Generation DK-07 Elevating Table for Gaming

The gaming desk DK-07 comes with a single monitor stand, supports split water-cooled dual-system installation and has a superb hardware compatibility, and has a 30" LG transparent OLED display built underneath the desktop panel, which is not only trendy... I really can't describe it in any words, but the price is not too cheap either.

 

The glass desktop can be made transparent or opaque with the press of a button, kind of like the matte glass used in an office or motel, so you can make it fully transparent when you want to appreciate the details of your hardware, or set it to matte mode when you want to focus on the screen.

On the right side of the desktop is the storage drawer; on the left side is the drink holder and charging area, the drink holder can be customized to make cold or hot (this feature is super exciting to me...), and on the top of the charging area is the wireless charging pad, which pops up to give you more charging outlets and so on when you press it.

 

I've said all this before, but don't forget that the DK-07 has an important purpose other than being an extension table! There are plenty of fan mounting locations for the internal dual system.
