GUXON Extreme Cube Solid-State Dual-Port Portable Charger Unboxing: Design and Product Features

This unboxing features the GUXON Extreme Cube Solid-State Dual-Port Power Bank, model number GFC930. This model highlights the use of a brand-new solid-state battery and laminated cell technology to ensure safer operation. Its internal structure features a 90% gel-based solid-state electrolyte, so it’s unlikely to catch fire even if punctured, providing greater peace of mind during use. You can view numerous puncture and impact tests on the official website and in various videos.

There are five color options to choose from: Midnight Black, Misty White, Dawn Gold, Sunset Pink, and Sunset Orange. For this unboxing, I chose the Dawn Gold color. Personally, I find this color to be unique without being too flashy. The product comes with a one-year warranty.

As can be seen from various official announcements and promotional materials, Ji Fangkuai places a strong emphasis on safety upgrades and various protective features, positioning itself as a next-generation solid-state portable charger to replace its predecessor, Qiao Fangkuai.

△ I looked it up, and it seems to be an official puncture test video.

The GUXON Extreme Cube Solid-State Dual-Port Power Bank measures 80.9 × 50 × 31.5 mm. It’s about the size of a perfume bottle when held in your hand. It’s advertised as being smaller than the previous generation (10%), making it lighter, more compact, and less space-consuming. The front features a two-tone design divided vertically. The upper half houses the battery level display screen, which, in our tests, lights up blue when the power bank is charging itself.

Unlike most 10,000mAh power banks in the past, which were bulky and heavy, the Extreme Cube stands out because it’s only the size of the palm of your hand—it fits easily into a pocket or bag, so you can just toss it in and take it with you.

△ The GUXON Extreme Cube measures 80.9 × 50 × 31.5 mm.

△ When you press the button, the upper part of the display shows the remaining battery level.

△ The actual measured weight is 178 g.

The battery inside the Extreme Power Bank features a “stacked-cell design,” which is said to further enhance overall stability and safety, reduce battery overheating, extend battery life, lower the likelihood of swelling, and minimize the risk of spontaneous combustion. With a battery capacity of 10,000 mAh, the official website claims it can charge an iPhone 17 approximately 1.8 times, though the number of charges ranges from about 1.5 to 3 depending on the model.

The product itself is labeled with “38.5 Wh (watt-hours).” According to EVA Air’s baggage guidelines, it complies with carry-on regulations, which means the GUXON Extreme Cube Solid-State Dual-Port Power Bank can be placed in your carry-on luggage and taken on board.

△ The back is labeled 38.5 Wh (watt-hours), which meets current airline carry-on luggage requirements.

The power bank comes with one Type-C and one Lightning charging cable, each protected by a double-braided outer layer, making it compatible with both current and older iPhone models, as well as Android phones with USB Type-C charging ports. However, I was somewhat surprised to see a Lightning cable included with a 2026 power bank. While it offers greater versatility, considering future trends, I feel it would be more streamlined to include only a Type-C cable.

When using a Type-C cable, the official website lists 22.5W fast charging; and the iPhone 17 Pro takes only about half an hour to charge to 50%; with a Lightning cable, 20W fast charging is available, and the iPhone 14 Pro also takes only 20 to 30 minutes to charge to 50%.

If you want to charge headphones or a smartwatch, press and hold the power bank for 3 seconds to enter low-current mode, which helps charge these lightweight devices while reducing the strain on their batteries.

The included Type-C cable can also be used to connect to a charger to charge the power bank itself.

△ GUXON's Extreme Cube comes with two charging cables.

△ Features built-in clips to secure the cables.

△ The cables are fully extended for display.

△ Based on my own testing, the GUXON Power Cube can charge two phones at the same time—I didn’t have a third phone to test it with.

△ The connector is small enough that I can plug it in even with my phone case on—this little detail really enhances the user experience.

The USB Type-C port on the Power Cube can be used to charge the device with your own cable, and it can also serve as an input port to charge the power bank itself.

GUXON Extreme Cube Solid-State Dual-Port Portable Charger: Actual Charging Temperature and Heat Dissipation Performance

Next, I put the GUXON Extreme Cube Solid-State Dual-Port Portable Charger to the test. I used the included Lightning cable to charge an iPhone SE (2nd generation) for 30 minutes and monitored the temperature using the FLIR ONE PRO thermal imager, for your reference.

△ During charging, the surface temperature on one side was 20.7 °C.

△ The back reads 26.2 °C.
