LIAN LI O11 Vision Compact, as the name suggests, is a compact version according to the naming principle, which means that the size is even smaller than the original version, which is 447.5 (L) x 287.5 (W) x 446.4 (H) mm, while the original version is 480 (L) x 304 (W) x 464.5 (H) mm, which is not that much worse, but more attractive than the change in the exterior size of the interior. In fact, in the author's personal opinion, I think this size reduction is really not that bad, but rather than the appearance of the size of the changes in the interior changes are more attractive.

The front A-pillar (front pillar) is removable, after removing it, you can achieve a perfect display angle of 270 degrees, but it is not recommended to remove it during transportation. The contact angles of the top, side and front panels are magnetically attracted to enhance the physical strength of the structure, featuring a structural strength of 35 kg.

The ∆ LIAN LI O11 Vision Compact is also available in black and white with dimensions of 447.5 x 287.5 x 446.4 mm.

∆ The top cover and the side view are secured with hand screws.

The chassis on/off button has been slightly relocated to the front, and the HD AUDIO, USB 3.1 Type-C, and 2x USB 3.0 chassis I/O remain underneath the front panel, but it's a shame that the USB Type-C bandwidth has been downgraded.

∆ Fixed HD AUDIO & Mic, USB 3.1 Type-C, 2x USB 3.0.

The rear of the chassis has changed considerably, becoming fixed instead of the modular, changeable model of the original, and only two 120 mm fans can be mounted at the rear; no 240 mm water cooler can be mounted, and the mounting positions of the power supply and hard drives have been reversed.

∆ A view of the rear of the chassis.

∆ Hard disk cage manual fixing screw.

The ∆ extends the power supply mounting position by 15 mm outward, and the side can also be used to help straighten the cables at the back of the chassis, while the upper threading holes can be used to connect the cables to the small screen.

The steel side panels at the rear of the chassis are also arranged with large mesh holes to provide sufficient air intake and heat dissipation space for the side fans and power supply.

∆ Flip up the magnetic fixed cable cover for two 2.5" hard drives on top, and the hard drive cage under the power compartment for two 2.5 or 3.5" hard drives.

On the back side, there are a lot of cable routing holes, devil's blanket cable ties, and fixing clips to assist in cable routing, or to use with some models of water-cooling.

The large alignment hole in the upper left corner of the ∆ can be used with the Hydroshift LCD AIO.

∆ Fixing snaps can be used to fix thicker wires.

∆ Motherboard back space at a glance, the power supply will block the back of the motherboard when installed, if you want to install the back panel of the cooler, it is recommended to install it before the power supply, the power supply supports ATX 220 mm size.

The side fan bracket can be used to mount three 120 mm fans or a 360 / 240 mm water cooler. The bracket itself is modular in design and can be changed to different depth modes by removing the side hand screws; the default mode is 36 mm from the graphics card; on the other hand, the other side can be used to expand the depth of the hamburger drain cooler by 110 mm.

∆ Side fan mounting bracket.

∆ Modular detachable structure.

∆The default mode is closer to the graphics card, if you want to install the Hamburger water cooling, we recommend you to turn the other side so that the water cooling is farther away from the graphics card, there will be more depth to install the water cooling.

One of the most important changes to the O11 Vision Compact is that the top of the chassis now supports fan mounting. In default mode, you can mount either a 360 / 280 mm water cooler or three 140 mm fans, but if you want to switch to glass for a triple-glass display, you can do so by removing the fan bracket and replacing it with the included glass top cover.

The ∆ default is now the fan-mountable mode, but it can be changed to the 3-sided glass mode by removing the fan bracket.

O11 Vision Compact Chassis Core Hardware Installation Space

The LIAN LI O11 Vision Compact supports up to E-ATX motherboards (up to 280 mm in width) and ATX-sized backplane motherboards, but not M-ATX backplanes, with a maximum of 408 mm of graphics card mounting space and up to 164 mm of air-cooled tower mounting height.

There is a built-in graphics card support bracket, but this bracket only supports graphics cards with a length of 278 mm or more, and can't be used with shorter cards such as the Founders Edition. Gamers can adjust the height and position of the bracket with the screws to match the place where the graphics card has to be touched.

∆ Remove the cable stopper if you want to install CPU power cables on a regular motherboard.

∆ If you are installing a back-plug ATX motherboard, it is recommended that you remove the rear composite cage, install the cables, and then put it back in depending on the condition.

A removable fan bracket underneath the chassis allows for the installation of three 120 mm fans or a 360 mm water cooler, and a removable dust filter underneath allows for regular dust cleaning.

∆ The fan bracket on the bottom of the chassis.

∆ can be disassembled separately.

When I first saw the LIAN LI EDGE series, I only had one thought, that is, the power supply has finally changed! In the past, the power supply which was so square and unchanging has finally changed its appearance under LIAN LI's hands.

The L-shape is very suitable for dual-cabin chassis installation, and it will be much more convenient for cable installation. This time, the unboxing is the platinum conversion rate version, and I remembered that I saw the gold version with a different internal solution and cheaper price at the computer show, and it seems that it will be available a little bit later.

The ∆ LIAN LI EDGE Platinum is available in 850W, 1000W and 1300W, and the colors are black and white.

The dimensions of the LIAN LI EDGE 1000W power supply are 182 x 150 x 86 mm. Because of the L-shape, the length of the power supply itself is longer than that of a conventional power supply, but it is still about the same after taking into account the space used for the molded wires.

Because it is L-SHAPE DESIGN, it is more suitable to be installed in the dual-cabin chassis of LIAN LI O11, and if you want to expand the cable in the future, you can install it directly accordingly, as for the other common lower-mounted chassis... it seems to be not so convenient.

The ∆ LIAN LI EDGE 1000W measures 182 x 150 x 86 mm and has a built-in 120 mm FDB fan with smart stop function.

∆ L-SHAPE DESIGN.

∆ Full module slots at a glance, the built-in USB 2.0 HUB can be expanded to seven USB devices after connecting to the motherboard, the slot on the far right can only install one USB 2.0 device, it is recommended to use it with LCD water cooler.

There is only a power switch at the back of the ∆, and the smart fan stop function cannot be turned off.

LIAN LI EDGE 1000W passed the 80 PLUS, PPLP, CYBENETIC three conversion rate test, and have passed the PLATINUM certification, through the Ministry of Economic Affairs Bureau of Standards and Inspection to inquire about the model number, you can also see that the Platinum Medal of the model by the blue electronics OEM, if the author remembers correctly, the previous LIAN LI are looking for this OEM.

What's special about the CYBENETIC certification is that in addition to the conversion rate certification, it also received an A- and A rating in the noise test and passed the ATX 3.1 specification test.

LIAN LI kept mentioning EDGE series at the computer show, using gold-plated and soldered pins on the 12V-2×6 power supply cable, and thickening the thickness of the copper material to further provide security, which seemed to be a solution to the security issue that was being talked about at the time.

The LIAN LI EDGE power supply has a built-in USB 2.0 expansion slot, which needs to be connected to the motherboard as the input of the expansion signal source. The two USB cables included in the accessory allow gamers to decide on which way to expand the power supply, one can be connected directly to the USB 2.0 9-Pin slot on the motherboard for expansion, while the other can be connected to the USB 2.0 Port on the back of the motherboard with a special file board for expansion. Conclusion

The LIAN LI O11 Vision Compact is not only smaller in size, but also in internal support. Compared to the original version, the Compact can support fan mounting on the top side as well as three-sided glass display mode with accessories, but on the side side, it only supports 120 mm wide fan and water cooling, and the rear side can only support fan mounting; However, the side of the Compact only supports 120 mm wide fans and water cooling, and the rear side only supports fans, not water coolers.

The modular rear design of the original and the detachable motherboard mounting bracket have been removed. Compared to the O11 Vision Compact, there are many improvements, such as support for ATX back-plugged motherboards and built-in graphics card brackets, as well as cable routing holes for Hydroshift LCD AIOs, space for a small monitor, and dedicated holes for cables, etc. But I don't quite understand why the USB Type-C bandwidth specification has been downgraded.... I don't really understand why the bandwidth of USB Type-C was downgraded...

The LIAN LI EDGE 1000W is the product I'm most looking forward to in mass production at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2024, because it's finally a power supply that breaks out of the old framework and presents a different concept! The L-SHAPE design is a little bit complementary to the double-cabin chassis, and it's perfect for the O11 series of LIAN LI chassis to be installed.

And at the same time with 80 PLUS PLATINUM / Cybenetics PLATINUM / PPLP PLATINUM and other three platinum conversion rate certification, as well as ATX 3.1 specification and test certificates and common features such as ten-year warranty, and there are also additional USB 2.0 expansion slots, is a kind of make up for the LIAN LI has been out of the LCD-related products use up USB 2.0 slots, right? The additional USB 2.0 expansion slot is to make up for the USB 2.0 slots that LIAN LI has been using in its recent LCD related products, right?
