LIAN LI Vector V150 INF Unboxing|Infinity Mirror Front Panel Outlook and Design Features

Last year, the author unboxed theVector V100and theVECTOR V100R MINIThe LIAN LI Vector V150 INF, also known as the V150 INF, is an updated version of the LIAN LI Vector series of chassis, and this year, LIAN LI updated the line again with the LIAN LI Vector V150 INF, also known as the V150 INF. Honestly, based on the original naming convention, I originally thought that this would be a larger full-tower chassis than the V100, but the Vector V150 INF is in fact similar to the V100 V150 INF in terms of specifications. VECTOR V100R MINI It's more similar to the Small Case in terms of the positioning of its own products.

The V150 INF has dimensions of 470 x 221.5 x 443.9 mm in length, width and height, with the same dimensions as the V150 INF. VECTOR V100R MINI It is the same, but slightly longer by about 24 mm.

However, in contrast to the architecture of the other two Vector series cases, the Vector V150 INF has a new, more compact design that is compatible with the V150 INF. LANCOOL 217 Infinity With the same style of tempered glass aperture and unlimited front panel, this case looks more like the VECTOR V100R MINI 與 LANCOOL 217 Infinity Variations after fusion.

The two 140mm mirrorless fans on the front can reach a maximum speed of 1900 RPM and boast a maximum airflow of 116.53 CFM; the maximum air pressure is 3.32 mmH₂O.

The glass ports are the same shape as the Vector series, secured by hand screws on the rear, and have a matte black effect. The chassis I/O ports offer 2x USB-A 5Gbps, USB Type-C 10Gbps, and TRRS composite headphone and microphone jacks.

△ Slightly matte glass side view.

△ Chassis I/O at a glance.

The rear of the chassis supports a 120 mm fan, and there are five PCIE mounting positions for graphics cards and expansion devices. The PCIE board has no crossbar, and there is an extractor filter underneath the bottom-mounted power supply for use.

At the rear of the case, a 120 mm mirrorless fan is pre-installed, with a maximum speed of 1800 RPM, a maximum airflow of 60.81 CFM, and a maximum air pressure of 2.53 mmH₂O.

△ Power supply dust filter.

The side panel on the back of the motherboard has mesh holes for the two fan mounting positions on the side, and the two fan mounting positions on the power compartment for air intake, but there is no filter underneath, so you may have to install your own dust filter if you are concerned about dust prevention.

The top of the chassis supports 360 mm fans and water coolers with a total thickness of less than 65 mm, while the wider 140 mm fan can be installed twice, but does not support the 280 mm water cooler. The top cover has a dust filter to minimize dust from falling into the interior of the chassis, but unfortunately, it is fixed, and can not be disassembled individually to clean the dust, so the entire unit has to be taken in for dust removal.

The top side supports 360 mm fan and water-cooling installation, and also supports two 140 mm fan installations.

LIAN LI Vector V150 INF Specifications and Mounting Space|Supports 360 water cooler and 400mm graphics card.

The LIAN LI Vector V150 INF supports Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX, and Micro-ATX (Rear Plug) sized motherboards, and the air-cooled cooler is compatible up to 163.5 mm in height and up to 400 mm in length for graphics card mounting, leaving plenty of room for the mainstream high-end air-cooled models and flagship graphics card mounting.

Two front and one rear mirrorless ARGB fans are pre-installed, with two ARGB tandem positive fans in the front to provide airflow into the chassis, and one positive fan in the rear to exhaust heat, creating a basic cooling airflow plan for the entire chassis.

The three pre-installed fans are pre-wired to the rear HUB, and only need to be connected to a 4-Pin PWM power supply and a 5V 3-Pin ARGB connector to the motherboard slot to complete the synchronization of the lighting effect, but this HUB requires a SATA power supply.

△ Pre-install the front two rear fans.

△ Supports Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX, and Micro-ATX (backplane) size motherboard installations.

The total thickness of water cooling is limited to 65 mm, so the hamburger row mounting method is basically impossible.

△ Built-in special fan HUB, you can set the pre-installed lighting and speed via L-Connect 3 with L-Wireless technology, and you can physically turn on/off the wireless mode, but the wireless controller needs to be purchased separately, and the HUB doesn't support an additional fan.

Two 120 mm fans can be installed above the power compartment to blow directly on the graphics card, but if the graphics card is thicker than three slots, or if the motherboard's graphics slot layout is low, the total thickness of the graphics card is too close to the bottom of the card, the fan underneath may not be able to be installed.

The chassis comes with an upper and lower fixed graphics card bracket, which can be adjusted in stages by using screws, but if the graphics card itself is a dual-fan it's not quite as useful as a longer triple-fan graphics card.

It's worth noting that the iconic model placement space from the other two Vector series cases has been removed from this case, and the side fan bracket that replaces it also contains two 2.5" hard drive mounts, allowing you to choose between fan and hard drive mounts depending on your needs.

△ Two fans can be installed on the power compartment, and the display card holder is included in the chassis.

△ The side bracket can be used to mount two 2.5" hard disks or two 120 mm fans, but it is not compatible with water cooler mounting (space constraints).

The back of the motherboard has a 2.5" HDD mounting plate secured by hand screws, and there are two HDD cage locking holes in the power compartment for two 2.5" or 3.5" composite mounts, but you can't install two 3.5" at the same time, and you can only install up to one 2.5" and one 3.5" or two 2.5" HDDs at the same time.

In addition, when the length of the power supply exceeds 150 mm, only one of the two composite mounts can be installed, which means that the entire chassis can be expanded to accommodate a maximum of one 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch hard drives, for a total of five hard drives.

△ Power compartment space demonstration, maximum support ATX ≤ 200 mm length power installation.

Is the LIAN LI Vector V150 INF worth buying? Pros, Cons & Suggestions

LIAN LI Vector V150 INF(V150 INF) This chassis is actually VECTOR V100R MINI It also incorporates a miniaturized version of the LANCOOL 217 Infinity On the front panel, in terms of overall architecture, the Vector V150 INF is longer overall, but because of the addition of the front fan, the compatible graphics card mounting space has been compressed a bit.

The side fan bracket has an additional mounting plate for two 2.5 HDDs, allowing more drives to be installed in the entire chassis, and it's a shame that the iconic model placement platform for Vector series chassis has been removed.

The front fan on the front panel of the Infinity Mirror is a 140 mm version, also adorned with a rotatable metal dust filter, which is still very much like a stereo, but it also adds a new direction of airflow into the chassis, allowing up to 10 fans to be mounted across the entire chassis, for a more comprehensive cooling plan.

The MSRP for this case, which was previously revealed at the CES launch event, is $79.99 USD, and the press release in China is 439 CNY, so I'm guessing the price in Taiwan will be around 2,499 NTD.
